M.I.A. – Bad Girls (Premiere)

Made In China – Joe Black

Artist Joe Black reproduced a photograph by Robert Capa as a hybrid painting/sculpture work of art using more than 5500 toy soldiers. The original picture, intitled Chinese soldier, was used on the front cover of LIFE magazine, January 1938 to cover the Sino Japanese War. Here are some (amazing) details of his creation. The movie, to be released in spring, once again takes place in New York City and deals with the concept of “exploring the New York hospitality” through Hip-hop culture and meetings with great New Yorker culture figures.
